Audio-Technica is expanding the color palette of its Sound Burger: The portable Bluetooth turntable is now also available in green and blue. The two new models are offered exclusively in Europe and complement the existing versions in black, white, and yellow.
With the Sound Burger, variety comes in the form of color this time around. Audio-Technica is offering two fresh new looks for its unusually compact turntable that complement its playful retro design. This brings the total number of standard color options to five.
The Sound Burger’s roots date back to the 1980s. It made its comeback in 2022, initially as a limited-edition red special edition to celebrate Audio-Technica’s 60th anniversary. Due to high demand, it returned to the regular lineup in 2023 under the model number AT-SB727.

Vinyl to Go
Its slim design makes the Sound Burger a space-saving alternative for vinyl fans. When playing, the record extends well beyond the compact player. A belt drive spins LPs and singles at 33⅓ and 45 revolutions per minute, respectively.
Bluetooth is available for connecting to compatible speakers or headphones. Those who prefer to listen to their vinyl records via a wired connection can use the analog output. A connection cable with a 3.5-millimeter jack plug on one end and two RCA plugs on the other is included. According to the manufacturer, the built-in rechargeable battery provides up to twelve hours of playback and is charged via USB-C.
The Perfect Burger Box
Audio-Technica offers the AT-SBC1 separately for transport. The sturdy plastic case is shaped like a burger box and protects the turntable from dust and scratches. Convenient: The Sound Burger can remain in the open case while playing a record or charging.
Price and Availability
The Audio-Technica Sound Burger has been available in the new colors green and blue since October 15, 2026. The suggested retail price is 229 euros for each color.
