The return of a key Jamo series
The new Concert Legacy range is explicitly not a retro product. Instead, Jamo asks what the original Concert models would look like today if they had continued to evolve over the past three decades. The main sources of inspiration are the legendary Concert 8 and Concert 11 speakers from 1996.
Scandinavian development with Nordic technology
The new series remains closely tied to its Scandinavian roots. Concert Legacy is developed and manufactured in Denmark. For the drivers, Jamo works with Scan-Speak from Denmark and SEAS from Norway. In addition, wood-fibre materials from Finland are used for the woofers. According to Jamo, this close Nordic collaboration is intended to preserve the brand’s signature sound.
Technology for controlled sound
Technically, the series relies on a deliberately classic, passive speaker architecture with modern acoustic solutions. Particularly important here is the so-called DualCore design. It physically separates the midrange and bass chambers to ensure clean midrange reproduction even at higher levels. The whole setup is complemented by downward-firing bass-reflex systems, which are intended to allow more flexible placement in the living room.
Three models for a fresh start
Leading the series is the large Jamo Concert Legacy 11. The flagship is aimed at ambitious hi-fi listeners who, according to Jamo, want to experience as much detail in a recording as possible.
Below that, Jamo positions the Jamo Concert Legacy 9 as a more compact floorstanding speaker with a full three-way design.
Rounding out the family is the Jamo Concert Legacy 8, which is intended to bring the acoustic concept of the larger models into a more compact bookshelf-speaker format.

Between Scandinavian restraint and modern premium design
Visually, the new speakers combine classic hi-fi proportions with minimalist Scandinavian design. Striking features include clearly structured cabinets, contrasting baffles, and high-quality finishes. The models are available in the color options Onyx, Heritage, and Northern Frost.
Presentation at High End 2026
The new Concert models will be shown to the public for the first time at HIGH END 2026 in Vienna from June 4. Market launch is planned for August 2026.
