New App and Smarter Control
At the heart of the W-Generation is a completely redesigned software platform. The new app is not only expected to run more stably but also offer significantly more features.
These include a redesigned user interface for easier setup and control, as well as an expanded equalizer for finer sound adjustments. Audio Pro is also stepping up its streaming service game: in addition to Spotify and Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, and Amazon Music are now supported, among others.
Improvements have also been made to multiroom operation: more precise synchronization over Wi-Fi, more stable grouping of multiple speakers, and optimized connection logic are designed to ensure a seamless listening experience. Important for existing customers: The new W-models remain fully compatible with existing Audio Pro systems.

New Sound: More Volume, More Control
Audio Pro has also significantly improved the sound. The W-Generation features revised tuning with more dynamics, lower distortion, and higher maximum volume.
For the flagship A48 W, the manufacturer speaks of up to 10 to 15 dB more sound pressure and improved clarity in the high-frequency range thanks to optimized BMR drivers. More compact models like the A15 W benefit from more powerful bass and longer battery life.
The underlying approach: not fine-tuning, but a fundamental redefinition of the sound signature – with the goal of extracting true HiFi quality even from compact all-in-one systems.
Design: Scandinavian, but More Consistent
In parallel with the technology, the appearance has also been revised. The new generation follows a more unified design language with coordinated colors, revised fabric covers, and precisely placed logos.
Fine details such as optimized backs, adapted controls, and higher-quality surfaces are intended to emphasize the premium claim. The basic shapes remain familiar – but appear visibly refined. This means the speakers fit together better visually, both individually and as a multiroom ensemble.
Models and Availability
Starting September 5, the W-Generation will encompass almost the entire portfolio.
