WiiM, a company specializing in multi-room streaming, is expanding its portfolio with a new product category: WiiM Sound. The smart all-in-one speaker combines hi-res audio quality with intelligent networking and is designed to serve as a central hub for music, voice control and multi-room playback.

First smart speaker from WiiM

With the WiiM Sound, the manufacturer is launching an independent smart speaker on the market for the first time. The compact system is based on a 2.1 layout with a 4-inch long-throw woofer and two tweeters. According to the manufacturer, the speaker achieves a peak output of 100 watts and supports Hi-Res playback up to 24 bit / 192 kHz.

AI RoomFit Auto Tuning is used for optimum adaptation to different rooms – an automatic calibration that adapts the sound to the acoustic conditions.

Smart control and comprehensive connectivity

The 1.8-inch color display on the front shows cover art, volume, EQ and inputs. Alternatively, the speaker can be operated via the WiiM Voice Remote 2 Lite or the WiiM Home app. The app not only controls the WiiM Sound, but also other devices from the manufacturer such as streamers or amplifiers in the multi-room network.

Streaming support includes Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, TIDAL Connect, DLNA, Chromecast and Alexa Cast. In addition to Wi-Fi 6E, the WiiM Sound also offers Bluetooth 5.3 (including LE Audio), Ethernet and a 3.5 mm aux input.

Multiroom and home theater integration

In addition to classic stereo playback, the speaker supports stereo pairing and Dolby 5.1 Surround when several WiiM devices are combined. In addition, music routines, alarms and smart scenes can be set up directly via the app.

Prices and availability

The WiiM Sound will be available in black or white from October 28, 2025. The recommended retail price is 349 euros. The scope of delivery includes a power cable and the WiiM Voice Remote 2 Lite.
