Speaker manufacturer Teufel has introduced the ROCKSTER CROSS 2, a new version of its portable Bluetooth speaker. The model was designed for outdoor use and combines a robust design with a long battery life and improved operation. The speaker is now available in three color variants, with a starting price of 299.99 euros.
Suitable for outdoor use thanks to robust housing
The ROCKSTER CROSS 2 is protected against water jets in accordance with IPX5 and is designed for mobile use. The housing is shock-resistant, side recessed grips and a wide carrying strap make transportation easier. In addition to the previous black and red design, the model is now also available in Black & Green and Light Gray.
Sound optimizations and longer runtime
The sound is provided by a 2-way system with two tweeters, a subwoofer and rear passive cones. The setup is complemented by Teufel’s Dynamore® technology, which ensures a wide stereo image. A special outdoor mode optimizes the sound reproduction outdoors. The speaker can also be set up at an angle to improve the dispersion angle when placed on the floor.
With up to 46 hours of battery life in Eco mode, the ROCKSTER CROSS 2 offers significantly increased endurance according to the manufacturer. The charging function is via USB-C, and the speaker can also be used as a power bank if required.
Revised controls and new app functions
The user interface has been redesigned: All buttons are now centrally located on the top and are significantly larger. Alternatively, the speaker can be controlled via the Teufel Go app, including equalizer and sound adjustments.
Two ROCKSTER CROSS 2 can be paired to form a stereo set at the touch of a button or via the app. In addition, grouping with up to 100 compatible speakers (ROCKSTER GO 2, ROCKSTER NEO, MYND etc.) is possible.
Availability and prices
The ROCKSTER CROSS 2 is now available in the Teufel webshop and in Teufel stores at a price of 299.99 euros. The color variants Black & Red, Black & Green and Light Gray are available. The stereo set consisting of two ROCKSTER CROSS 2 costs 569.99 euros.
