Visitors to High End 2025 can expect an audiophile highlight in a class of its own at Audio Reference in Munich: the most expensive hi-fi system ever demonstrated in public. In Atrium 3.1, room C112, the renowned Hamburg-based distributor will be staging a spectacular setup with a total value of around three million euros in a “concert hall” specially set up for the trade fair. This extraordinary hi-fi experience has been realized exclusively with absolute top components and embodies uncompromising audiophile passion. With this superlative hi-fi chain, the renowned Hamburg-based audio distributor aims to top its spectacular presentation at the Norddeutsche HiFi Tage in Hamburg.
At the center of the system are the legendary WAMM Master Chronosonic speakers from Wilson Audio, complemented by two powerful Thor’s Hammer subwoofers from the same manufacturer, which provide impressive dynamics right down to the lowest frequencies. The top-class Vivaldi component set from dCS serves as the musical source, complemented by an audiophile VPI Direct Drive turntable, which impressively demonstrates how impressive vinyl can sound. Signal amplification is provided by four powerful Relentless monoblocks from Dan D’Agostinoin combination with the matching Relentless preamplifier – a statement for maximum performance and sonic control. Nordost provides the cabling with its exclusive Odin cables, while elegant Bassocontinuo racks perfect the system visually and acoustically. Böde will present selected pieces of music, played from CD, LP and streaming, and explain the sonic differences and advantages of the respective media in his usual charming and informative manner.
