Visitors to High End 2025 can expect an audiophile highlight in a class of its own at Audio Reference in Munich: the distributor claims to show “the most expensive hi-fi system ever demonstrated in public”. In Atrium 3.1, room C112, the renowned Hamburg-based distributor will be staging a spectacular setup with a total value of around three million euros in a “concert hall” specially set up for the trade fair. This extraordinary hi-fi experience has been realized exclusively with absolute top components and embodies uncompromising audiophile passion. With this superlative hi-fi chain, the renowned Hamburg-based audio distributor aims to top its spectacular presentation at the Norddeutsche HiFi Tage in Hamburg.

At the center of the system are the legendary WAMM Master Chronosonic speakers from Wilson Audio, complemented by two powerful Thor’s Hammer subwoofers from the same manufacturer, which provide impressive dynamics right down to the lowest frequencies. The top-class Vivaldi component set from dCS serves as the musical source, complemented by an audiophile VPI Direct Drive turntable, which impressively demonstrates how impressive vinyl can sound. Signal amplification is provided by four powerful Relentless monoblocks from Dan D’Agostinoin combination with the matching Relentless preamplifier – a statement for maximum performance and sonic control. Nordost provides the cabling with its exclusive Odin cables, while elegant Bassocontinuo racks perfect the system visually and acoustically. High-quality acoustic elements from Vicoustic ensure outstanding room acoustics.

Tickets required

Tickets are required to experience this sound demonstration live, as seating is limited and in high demand. Interested parties can register in advance by emailing info@audio-reference.de or secure tickets directly on site during the trade fair – but only while stocks last.

Audio Reference offers another highlight on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 3 p.m. in room D111: Matthias Böde, renowned hi-fi expert from STEREO magazine, invites you to an exclusive half-hour listening session. Böde will present selected pieces of music, played from CD, LP and streaming, and explain the sonic differences and advantages of the respective media in his usual charming and informative manner. Due to the popularity of this event, we recommend that you arrive early.

High End 2025 will take place at the MOC Munich, Germany, from May 15 to 18, 2025 – a must-attend event for all hi-fi enthusiasts.
