Alongside the launch of the Sonos Ace, the audio expert’s first headphones, Sonos has today announced another exciting news: the launch of the Sonos Roam 2. This ultra-portable, versatile and robust speaker is a new edition of the popular Roam(click here for our review) and takes Sonos sound everywhere.

The Roam 2 is said to deliver the rich, detailed sound and rich bass that you would expect from a much larger speaker. Despite its compact size, it should therefore impress with a powerful sound experience, just like its predecessor.

Sonos Roam 2 offers the following features

Sonos has revised the design of the Roam 2, which now features an elegant monochrome logo. Separate, discreet buttons for power and Bluetooth ensure simple operation and a clear look.

With the automatic Trueplay function, the Roam 2 always adapts to the respective environment to offer the best possible listening experience – whether via Bluetooth or WLAN. This technology ensures that the sound quality is optimal in any environment.

The Roam 2 offers up to 10 hours of continuous playback on a single charge and up to 10 days of battery life in sleep mode. This makes it the ideal companion for all adventures without having to worry about the battery.

Out of the box, the Roam 2 should connect immediately to your mobile device via Bluetooth so that you can enjoy music on the go. To integrate the Roam 2 into the existing Sonos system, all you need to do is set it up in the WiFi at home.

Defying the elements

With an IP67 rating , the Roam 2 is dustproof and fully waterproof. According to Sonos, it can easily withstand splashing water, sun, dirt, sand, snow and extreme temperatures, making it the perfect outdoor speaker.

Five bright colors

The Roam 2 is available in olive, sunset, wave, black and white, so there is an option to suit every style and taste.

The Roam 2 is available worldwide from today, May 21, at a price of 200 euros.
