With the Elan Move, British audio brand Pure brings a new portable audio device to market that combines classic radio functions with modern connectivity. The compact receiver combines DAB+ and FM with Bluetooth streaming, targeting users who want to switch flexibly between linear radio and their own content.
The concept follows a clear trend: While streaming dominates, traditional radio remains relevant for many—whether due to ease of use, program variety, or reliable reception quality. This is precisely where the Elan Move comes in, combining both worlds in one device.
A central focus is on mobility. The housing is compact and light enough to fit easily in a bag. For on-the-go operation, an integrated, removable 1,800 mAh battery provides up to 16 hours of runtime according to the manufacturer. This makes the device suitable not only for use at home but also for travel, outings, or everyday mobile use.

Pure Promises Solid Sound Quality
Despite its compact dimensions, Pure promises solid sound quality. An integrated 2-inch mono speaker with 1.5 watts of power handles playback. This aims less for maximum volume than for clear and balanced reproduction, typical for speech programs and background music.
The features include DAB+ and FM as well as Bluetooth for wireless streaming, plus a total of 80 station presets distributed across both reception types. This is complemented by a headphone jack that enables undisturbed listening on the go.
With the Elan Move, Pure positions a deliberately simple yet versatile device that sits between traditional radio and modern Bluetooth speaker. This concept should be particularly interesting for users who want to combine both usage types.
The Pure Elan Move is now available in black and sand. The price is €49.99.
