With the Px7 S3, Bowers & Wilkins presents its latest generation of wireless over-ear headphones, making a new statement in the world of high-end audio. Building on more than a decade of experience in the development of audiophile headphones – from the legendary P5 to the Px5 S2, which we reviewed, and the celebrated Px7 S2e – the British audio specialist aims to set new standards with the Px7 S3, both in terms of sound and appearance.
Numerous improvements
The fundamentally revised industrial design takes the iconic Bowers & Wilkins design language to a new level. The Px7 S3 is slimmer and more elegant than its predecessor, while offering even greater comfort. A newly designed headband, higher quality memory foam ear pads and a more compact carrying case appeal not only to aesthetes but also to frequent listeners.
Fine-tuning for audiophile performance
Technically, almost every component of the B&W Px7 S3 has been rethought. The 40 mm biocellulose drivers have been given a revised chassis, stronger magnets and optimized coil suspensions – with the aim of achieving more dynamics, more resolution and less distortion. For the first time, integrated, dedicated headphone amplifiers ensure an even richer sound. The result: an expansive, precise sound with an immersive stereo stage – as authentic as the artist intended.

High-Res Audio wireless and digital
The Px7 S3 supports both aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless – two high-quality Bluetooth codecs that enable wireless music in 24 bit/96 kHz. Alternatively, the headphones can also be connected via USB-C or 3.5 mm jack – both cable types are included in the scope of delivery.
Noise canceling 2.0 – now with 8 microphones
Bowers & Wilkins is breaking new ground in active noise cancellation: eight precisely positioned microphones and the in-house DSP platform ensure one of the most effective ANC performances on the market – without any loss of sound. At the same time, ADI Pure Voice technology significantly improves voice quality during calls.
30-hour battery and new app functions
Despite the high-end technology, the Px7 S3 remains durable: up to 30 hours of battery life, with a quick charge function for 7 hours of playback in just 15 minutes. The Bowers & Wilkins Music app allows you to personalize the EQ, transparency mode and shortcuts – including the new True Sound mode with sound profile from the Southwater R&D team.

Future-proof with 3D audio and LE Audio
The Px7 S3 will also receive 3D audio and Bluetooth LE audio including Auracast support via a software update. The latter enables simultaneous streaming of an audio source to multiple headphones – ideal for shared listening experiences.
Availability and colors
The Px7 S3 is now available in Anthracite Black, Indigo Blue and Canvas White at a price of 429 euros or 399 CHF from authorized dealers and at bowerswilkins.com.
With the Px7 S3, Bowers & Wilkins once again underlines its claim to combine reference sound with premium design and smart technology – a real statement for discerning music lovers.
