With the CINEBAR PRO 2, Teufel is introducing its new flagship soundbar. Ten built-in drivers, including two upward-firing drivers, are designed to bring Dolby Atmos and DTS:X to the living room. The system also features Wi-Fi streaming, two HDMI 2.1 inputs, and the option to expand it with wireless rear speakers.

The CINEBAR PRO 2 is generally paired with a subwoofer. Teufel offers this setup—referred to as a 5.1.2 system—with the new T 10 Mk2 or, in the more affordable Select version, with the more compact T 8. The new top-of-the-line model is not available as a standalone soundbar.

The Teufel comes from above

For the three front channels, Teufel uses coaxial drivers, each combining a tweeter and a mid-bass driver on a common acoustic axis. This arrangement is designed to support precise localization and stable reproduction of voices and instruments. Together with two side-mounted full-range drivers and two up-firing drivers, this brings the total number of drivers in the soundbar to ten.

The two upward-facing 3.5-inch drivers handle the height channels. They direct the sound toward the ceiling, from which it is reflected back to the listening position. This is how Dolby Atmos and DTS:X achieve their height dimension. Teufel’s Dynamore technology is also used to spatially expand the soundstage.

If you’d like to place speakers behind the sofa as well, you can add the wirelessly connected EFFEKT 2 speakers. According to Teufel, this expands the configuration to 7.1.2 channels. The classic audio formats Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD, and DTS Digital Surround are also supported.

Seamless Home Theater Integration

Through its integration with Teufel Home, the CINEBAR PRO 2 offers Wi-Fi streaming via AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect. TuneIn adds internet radio. Bluetooth 5.3 with AAC is also available for direct playback from a smartphone.

Two HDMI 2.1 inputs accommodate external devices. The system connects to the TV via HDMI with eARC and CEC. An optical digital input, an analog AUX input, and an Ethernet port round out the connections. The subwoofer receives its audio signal wirelessly.

In everyday use, the soundbar can be controlled via touch controls on the device, the included infrared remote control, or the Teufel Home app. An OLED display shows information. The sound modes—Movie, Music, Game, Voice+, and Night—allow you to customize the sound for each use case.

Pricing and Availability

The Teufel CINEBAR PRO 2 is now available in the Teufel online store and at Teufel stores. It comes in Black (Night Black) and White (Pure White). All sets include components in the same color.
