Loewe is expanding its wireless We.BOOST home theater system with a dedicated center speaker. The 299-euro upgrade is designed to anchor dialogue more clearly in the center of the screen and transform the existing 4.1.2 setup into a full-fledged 5.1.2 system.
In a home theater, music often comes from all around, but dialogue usually comes from the center. Until now, We.BOOST had to make do without its own speaker in that exact spot. Now, Loewe is expanding the plug-and-play system – marketed under the We. by Loewe brand — to include the We.BOOST Center.
Center Instead of Phantom
The additional speaker handles the center channel, which is designed to reproduce voices and dialogue more precisely in the center of the screen. At the same time, Loewe promises a more clearly defined front soundstage and an even more immersive home theater experience.
With the We.BOOST Center, the existing 4.1.2 configuration becomes a 5.1.2 setup for Dolby Atmos. The fifth speaker complements the four existing main channels, while the subwoofer continues to handle bass reproduction and the two height channels provide the vertical dimension of sound.
Upgrade Instead of Replacement
Owners of a We.BOOST system do not need to purchase a new AV receiver or a completely new set of speakers for the additional center channel. The speaker is integrated into the system wirelessly via the existing We.BOOST dongle. A software update installed via USB prepares the existing system for the new component.
To allow the soundbar to be placed either below the TV or mounted on the wall to save space, a compatible wall mount is included. Loewe is thus sticking to its existing concept of bringing true multi-channel sound into the living room without the need for extensive cabling or complicated setup.
720 Watts for Movies, Music, and Games
The original We.BOOST system consists of four wireless active speakers and a subwoofer. According to the manufacturer, together they deliver 720 watts of total music power. Upward-firing drivers also produce the height effects of Dolby Atmos.
The TV transmits signals via HDMI, including CEC, ARC, and eARC. It also features Bluetooth for wireless music streaming and a 3.5-millimeter analog stereo input. Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital, and PCM are supported. The feature set also includes a dual-stereo mode and options for custom acoustic fine-tuning.
Loewe We.BOOST Center: Price and Availability
The We.BOOST Center speaker is scheduled to launch in September 2026 in the color Ash Grey. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 299 euros. This offers existing Loewe customers a relatively straightforward way to expand their current We.BOOST system with a true center channel.
