To mark the company’s 100th anniversary,
Three classics with a new look

The anniversary series includes the Beoplay H100 over-ear headphones, the Beosound A5 portable speaker and the fifth generation of the Beosound A9 designer speaker. All three models pick up on details from formative decades in B&O’s history – from the checkered front grilles of early radios to the variety of colors of the 1970s and the brushed aluminum surfaces of the 1980s. They are complemented by leather applications and finely crafted controls reminiscent of younger design generations.
Historic details and modern materials
The Beoplay H100 Century Brown is based on a color concept in Century Red, Chestnut Brown and Century Blue. Titanium drivers with Dolby Atmos optimization and active noise suppression work under the leather-covered headband.
The Beosound A5 Century Weave (read our review of the basic version) reinterprets the diamond pattern of classic B&O radios: a paper raffia weave in beige and chestnut brown meets an aluminum housing with a Century Red leather handle. The battery promises a long battery life and an integrated Qi charging function allows mobile devices to be charged wirelessly.

The Beosound A9 Century Blue also has its own unique appearance: the fabric cover from Kvadrat combines Century Blue and Chestnut Brown to create a striking checkerboard pattern. The aluminum rings and feet have a brushed surface that is reminiscent of the typical finish of the 1980s.
