With the Middleton II, Marshall is launching the second generation of its popular Bluetooth speaker. We have already reviewed its predecessor. The 2nd generation of the compact retro speaker should be robust again and even more convincing in terms of sound. With over 30 hours of battery life, 360° true stereophonic sound, a new multidirectional control button and powerbank and hands-free functions, the Middleton II is aimed at anyone who doesn’t want to compromise on sound when they’re on the move.

More powerful, smarter, more mobile

The biggest innovation: the Marshall Middleton II is said to last over 30 hours on a single charge and can be recharged for another hour of playback in just 20 minutes. Despite its handy format, Marshall promises that the speaker now delivers even richer bass, clearer treble and remains precise and balanced even at high volumes.

With true 360-degree surround sound (“True Stereophonic”), the Middleton II distributes the sound evenly throughout the room – no matter where you stand. The new IP67 certification makes it waterproof and dustproof – ideal for traveling, festivals or the beach.

New controls & practical extras

The redesigned control button responds to pressure and rotation – for starting, pausing, skipping, volume control or calling. An integrated microphone enables hands-free calls, while the integrated power bank function also supplies the smartphone with energy.

With LE Audio on board, wireless transmission is even more efficient and less time-consuming – ideal for the sound of YouTube and other videos.
