With the new Kilburn III, Marshall heralds the next evolutionary stage of its popular Bluetooth speaker series. The iconic rock’n’roll design meets modern technology and record-breaking endurance: over 50 hours of battery life should easily provide a whole weekend of music. That’s twice as long as the previous model.
The portable speaker uses True Stereophonic Sound, Marshall’s own 360° audio technology. The Kilburn III should impress in any environment – whether living room, balcony or bathroom – with powerful bass, clear highs and balanced mids. According to the manufacturer, the sound quality remains stable even at high volumes. The cult loudspeaker in the shape of the British manufacturer’s classic stage amplifiers should thus finally make up for its lag in terms of balance and bandwidth compared to the Stanmore III or Acton III, which made the eternally unchanged predecessor Kilburn II look very old in our sound tests.
Marshall remains true to its style visually too: the Kilburn III comes in a classic amplifier look with tactile controls for volume, bass and treble as well as a removable carrying strap with velvet underside, inspired by guitar straps. The robust design with IP54 certification protects against dust and splash water – ideal for outdoor use.

Marshall Kilburn III: More than just music
Thanks to the integrated power bank feature, smartphones or other devices can be charged on the go. The latest Bluetooth technology ensures optimum connectivity. In addition, analog controls allow direct control on the device, including preset selection via the M button.
Marshall Product Manager Hanna Wallner speaks of a “groundbreaking evolution” of the product line: “The Kilburn III is a comprehensive upgrade – with improved sound, more endurance and a revised design.”
The Kilburn III will be available from May 27 on Marshall.com in the colors Black & Brass and Cream (RRP: 349 euros). It will go on sale in stores on June 10.
