T+A continues to develop its Solitaire T: The new Solitaire T Pro combines closed-back over-ear headphones with Bluetooth, active noise cancellation, and analog connectivity options. It also features Dolby Atmos with head tracking and a “Studio Pro Mode” with a separate D/A converter. Two design options are available.
Under the motto “T+A Studio in Motion,” the Herford-based hi-fi manufacturer aims to bring together high-quality music playback at home and on the go. The Solitaire T Pro’s connectivity options are correspondingly versatile: In addition to Bluetooth and USB-C, it supports passive playback via the headphone output of a hi-fi system. Analog input with active noise cancellation is also possible.
Cellulose Diaphragm and Separate Sabre DAC
The acoustic foundation is a dynamic 42-millimeter driver with a special cellulose diaphragm. It is designed to combine low weight with high rigidity. Targeted edge damping is designed to reduce unwanted reflections. According to T+A, the company places great importance on the transducer system achieving the desired sound quality even without electronic corrections.
For digital playback, the Solitaire T Pro offers “T+A Studio Pro Mode.” A separate ESS ES9219 Sabre DAC handles the digital-to-analog conversion. This is followed by an analog amplifier and analog volume control. The headphones can be connected directly to digital sources via USB-C.
Bluetooth Meets Surround Sound
The Qualcomm QCC5181 chipset serves as the digital control center. For wireless transmission, the Solitaire T Pro supports, among others, the Bluetooth codecs LDAC and aptX Adaptive. Which codec is used depends on the specific playback device.
With Dolby Atmos and head tracking, T+A also expands the system’s capabilities to include spatial music and movie playback. This brings immersive content into the spotlight alongside traditional stereo listening.
Analog Input with ANC
For analog sources, cable connections with 3.5- or 6.3-millimeter jack plugs are available, as well as a balanced connection via Pentaconn. The included cables are made of oxygen-free copper and feature gold-plated contacts.
T+A calls one of its special features “Active Analog”: Even when using an analog input, you can still use the headphones’ volume control and active noise cancellation. In addition, purely passive cable operation remains possible.

Peace and quiet at the touch of a button
The closed-back design provides passive isolation from external noise. The switchable Active Noise Canceling is designed primarily to further reduce low-frequency disturbances. A transparency mode allows ambient sounds to be heard again when needed.
T+A specifies a battery life of up to 50 hours. The device is operated via a touchpad and mechanical buttons. Voice prompts in three languages confirm important inputs. In addition, the newly developed “T+A Solitaire Companion H2” app for iOS and Android is designed for control.
Night Flight or Riviera?
The aluminum components of the Solitaire T Pro are milled from solid blocks, bead-blasted, and anodized. For transport, the ear cups can be rotated 90 degrees and folded inward. The ear pads are made of synthetic leather.
When it comes to colors, T+A offers two different combinations: Nightflight combines black with dark gray and silver accents. Riviera combines warm white surfaces with cognac-brown contrasts.
Price and Availability
The T+A Solitaire T Pro is expected to be available in both design variants at authorized retailers starting in late October 2026 for 1,590 euros. For more information: http://www.ta-hifi.com/
