With the DALI VEGA, DALI presents an exceptionally ambitious all-in-one audio system. The Danish company aims to do nothing less than partially replace classic HiFi systems—with a single wireless speaker that combines high-end sound, modern streaming, and living-room-friendly design.
According to DALI, the new VEGA was in development for over five years and is specifically aimed at users looking for the highest possible sound quality without the complexity of traditional HiFi.
Ten drivers and 400 watts of power
Technically, the VEGA packs quite a punch. Inside, a total of ten speaker drivers developed by DALI themselves are at work. These include four 25 mm fabric tweeters and four 4.5-inch mid-woofers with paper-wood fiber cones. The system is rounded off by passive bass radiators and a total of eight Class D power amplifiers with a combined output of 400 watts.
The new “Adaptive Stereo Enhancement” (ASE) technology sounds particularly interesting. This system, developed by DALI, is designed to create an unusually wide and spacious stereo image from a single speaker without sounding artificial or colored. According to the manufacturer, the signal processing adapts to the respective music signal in real time.

Flexible placement, even on the wall
The VEGA is also unusually flexible when it comes to placement. The system can not only be used freestanding in a room or on a sideboard but can also be hung horizontally or vertically on the wall. An automatic “Adaptive Orientation Adjustment” technology detects the respective position and adjusts the stereo image accordingly.
Additionally, the tuning can be adjusted for placement near walls or in corners.
Visually, DALI relies on a blend of Scandinavian furniture design and modern streaming technology. Real wood veneers in Dark Oak or Natural Oak meet aluminum details and fabric-covered fronts. However, the most striking element is the large central volume control with ball-bearing mechanics, which DALI explicitly highlights as a tactile user experience.
BluOS, HDMI ARC, and hi-res streaming
For streaming, DALI integrates the BluOS multi-room system. Supported services include Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and Apple AirPlay 2. Bluetooth, including aptX HD, is also included.
The VEGA is also surprisingly well-equipped when it comes to connections: in addition to HDMI ARC and an optical input, there is also an analog RCA input and a subwoofer output. USB audio playback is also possible. This positions the VEGA not only as a music system but also as a high-quality solution for the TV and living room.
Premiere in Vienna and price from 3,000 euros
The DALI VEGA will celebrate its official premiere in early June at an exclusive media showcase in Vienna. There, DALI plans to present the new one-box system in detail for the first time and demonstrate the new technologies surrounding Adaptive Stereo Enhancement and flexible room adaptation.
The market launch will take place from September 2026, initially in selected countries, with further markets to follow in October and November. The price for the VEGA is 3,000 euros. The system is available in Dark Oak and Natural Oak finishes.
With its ambitious concept, the VEGA clearly positions itself above classic lifestyle speakers and competes more with high-quality streaming systems from Naim, Devialet, or Bang & Olufsen. At the same time, it remains to be seen whether DALI can actually achieve a convincingly spacious stereo image from just a single speaker with its new ASE technology.
