With the TN-400BT-X Turquoise, TEAC is introducing a new colour variant of its Bluetooth turntable. The limited version in striking turquoise combines classic vinyl listening with modern streaming options and adds a visually distinctive special edition to the existing TN-400BT series.
The turntable is aimed at both vinyl newcomers and experienced record fans who want to integrate their collection flexibly into modern audio setups. In addition to an integrated phono preamp, the model also offers wireless streaming via Bluetooth.
Classic turntable engineering
The TN-400BT-X uses a belt drive that drives a smoothly running die-cast aluminium platter. According to the manufacturer, this design ensures quiet operation and precise rotational speed.
The tonearm is a statically balanced S-shaped design and features adjustable anti-skating. This allows the tracking force to be set correctly and ensures even tracking of the record.
An Audio-Technica cartridge is pre-installed at the factory, so the turntable is ready to use straight out of the box.
Bluetooth streaming for modern setups
In addition to classic analogue signal transmission, the TN-400BT-X also supports wireless audio streaming via Bluetooth 5.2. Compatible speakers or headphones can be connected directly to the turntable.
For the highest possible transmission quality, the device supports not only the standard SBC codec but also aptX and aptX Adaptive. This is intended to deliver significantly better sound quality than conventional Bluetooth connections.
Integrated phono preamp
The turntable features an integrated phono EQ amplifier, so it can also be used with amplifiers or active speakers that don’t have their own phono input.
A switch lets you choose the output signal between phono and line level. Gold-plated RCA sockets ensure a high-quality analogue connection to the audio system.
Striking turquoise design
The limited edition stands out above all thanks to its MDF plinth with a turquoise high-gloss finish compared to the standard models. The chassis measures around 420 × 117 × 356 mm and weighs about 4.9 kg. In summary, the TEAC TN-400BT-X is a Bluetooth turntable that combines classic vinyl playback with modern wireless transmission to wireless speakers or headphones.
