Razer is expanding its audio lineup with the new Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed, available in versions designed specifically for Xbox and PlayStation. These wireless gaming earbuds are aimed at console gamers who are looking for low latency as well as flexible compatibility with other platforms, such as PCs, handhelds, and mobile devices.
At the heart of the new in-ear headphones is Razer’s HyperSpeed Wireless with 2.4-GHz technology, which is designed to enable ultra-low-latency audio transmission for competitive gaming. Bluetooth 5.3 is also available, allowing the earbuds to be used comfortably with smartphones or tablets while on the go. Using Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless, the earbuds automatically switch between the two connection types.

A standout feature is the HyperSpeed Case, which not only serves as a charging case but also incorporates a wireless 2.4-GHz receiver. This allows the earbuds to connect directly to compatible consoles or mobile devices while they are charging in the case.
According to Razer, the Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed offers up to ten hours of battery life per charge, which can be extended to up to 35 hours with the charging case. They also feature an IPX4-certified, water-resistant housing, touch controls, and platform-specific spatial audio support. They support Windows Sonic on Xbox, 3D Audio on PlayStation, and THX Spatial Audio on PC.
