Anker Soundcore is expanding its relatively new Thus family with three new headphones. The open-ear AeroClip 2, the over-ear Space 2 Pro, and the in-ear Liberty Buds 2 all feature a local AI chip designed to better isolate voices from ambient noise during phone calls. Prices range from 129.99 to 199.99 euros.
One Chip for Three Designs
The Thus chip, introduced in the spring of 2026, is the common thread linking these three otherwise very different headphones. Instead of simply filtering out background noise according to fixed rules, the AI running on the chip is designed to distinguish between the wearer’s voice and the surrounding acoustic clutter.
The calculations are performed directly within the headphones. Thanks to its compute-in-memory architecture, the Thus chip stores model parameters and processes them in the same memory space. This shortens the distance between the processor and memory and is designed to save both energy and space. According to Anker, the chip is manufactured in Germany.
AeroClip 2: An Open Ear for Soft Whispers
The Soundcore AeroClip 2 is an open-ear clip-on earbud that allows ambient sounds to pass through. A 12-millimeter driver and the high-resolution LDAC Bluetooth codec handle music playback. During phone calls, the Thus chip is designed to suppress distracting noises. A “Whisper Mode” promises clear conversations even when the user speaks softly.
According to Soundcore, the company analyzed more than 2,000 ear profiles to optimize the fit. A single battery charge lasts up to eight hours, and with the charging case, a total of 32 hours of use is possible. Ten minutes of charging provides enough power for another four hours. The case can also be charged wirelessly. Bluetooth 6.0 and the Soundcore app are also included.
The AeroClip 2 is available in burgundy red, among other colors, and costs 179.99 euros.

Space 2 Pro: Eight Microphones for Everyday Life
At 199.99 euros, the Soundcore Space 2 Pro is the most expensive model of the trio. Anker lists six microphones for phone calls, while eight microphones provide the adaptive ANC with information about the surroundings. Sound is produced by a 35-millimeter rigid-flex diaphragm. HearID 5.0 uses a hearing test to create a personalized frequency curve for both ears.
Without noise cancellation, these over-ear headphones are rated to last up to 60 hours; with ANC enabled, battery life is up to 30 hours. According to the manufacturer, a five-minute quick charge provides eight additional hours of playback. For wireless connectivity, Soundcore already uses Bluetooth 6.1.
Liberty Buds 2: A Great Option at a Lower Price
The Liberty Buds 2, priced at 129.99 euros, offer the most affordable entry point into the new generation of chips. Eight sensors are designed to detect the wearer’s voice, while AI reduces distracting ambient noise. For music playback, the true wireless in-ear earbuds each feature a 9.2-millimeter driver.
With this move, Soundcore is bringing its Thus chip—previously reserved for its higher-end models—to a lower price range for the first time. However, only a real-world test will reveal just how noticeable the advanced speech processing is in an office, on a train, or on a busy street.
Available now—Pro version coming in 2027
According to Anker, the AeroClip 2, Space 2 Pro, and Liberty Buds 2 are now available through the company’s own online store, Amazon, and specialty retailers. The manufacturer has also announced an AeroClip 2 Pro for CES, taking place January 6–9, 2027. It is said to be capable of recording up to eight hours of audio locally, as well as searching through and summarizing conversations.
