Bluetooth on the go, high-resolution streaming at home
The Audio Pro A15 W is based on a concept that only a few manufacturers are currently implementing consistently. On the go, the speaker functions like a classic Bluetooth speaker and receives music wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.2 or, alternatively, through its analog jack input.
At home, however, this compact active speaker becomes a full-fledged network player. The A15 W supports a wide range of modern streaming protocols and multiroom systems, including Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Tidal Connect, and Audio Pro Multiroom.
Integration with various streaming services is also extensive. Compatible apps allow you to directly connect to Amazon Music, Deezer, Qobuz, Spotify, and Tidal, among others.
What’s particularly interesting here is the system’s openness. The speaker can not only be used within the Audio Pro ecosystem, but can also be integrated into mixed multiroom setups.
Up to 19 hours of music without a power outlet
For on-the-go use, the A15 W features a built-in rechargeable battery that, according to the manufacturer, provides up to 19 hours of playtime. This makes the speaker ideal not only for the patio, but also for longer barbecue evenings, garden parties, or use at a vacation home.
If the weather happens to take a turn for the worse, the IPX2 certification will at least protect against splashing water.
Full-featured active hi-fi speaker
From a technical standpoint, the A15 W is more closely modeled after a classic active speaker than a typical Bluetooth speaker.
A 4.5-inch woofer handles the low-frequency range and is powered by its own 30-watt amplifier. It is supported by a bass-reflex system designed to deliver powerful bass and dynamic midrange.
The high-frequency range is handled by a fabric dome tweeter with a separate 10-watt amplifier. Audio Pro promises that this will result in particularly transparent and balanced sound reproduction.
If you need more power, you can group multiple speakers together or combine two A15 W units to create a true stereo pair. In addition, you can even connect a wired subwoofer to fill larger rooms with deeper bass.
The apps also include equalizer and calibration features for acoustic adjustment.
Can be operated even without a smartphone
One interesting feature of the A15 W is the six programmable preset buttons on the top panel. They can be linked to Internet radio stations, playlists, podcasts, or other sources.
This lets you play music with just the press of a button—even without a smartphone or app. Especially in the kitchen, bedroom, or bathroom, this concept often proves to be surprisingly practical in everyday life.
In addition, there are tactile buttons for volume, playback, track skipping, and source selection.
