With the new Hesh 540 ANC, Skullcandy is launching an over-ear headphone on the market that aims to impress with its rich sound, active noise cancellation and above-average battery life. The model offers Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) with four microphones and supplements this feature with a Stay-Aware mode that lets outside noise through if desired – ideal for on the go or everyday work.
Immersive sound is provided by THX Spatial Audio, which delivers 3D sound for music, series or games. If you want even more customization, you can adapt the sound to your own hearing profile using the Personal Sound by Mimi function. There are also smart features such as the Clear Voice Smart Mic for clearly understandable conversations, EQ presets(music, bass boost, podcast) and an audio mode with low latency.
With up to 65 hours of battery life (approx. 50 hours with active ANC), the Hesh 540 ANC is one of the longest-lasting models in its class. Thanks to Rapid Charge, just 10 minutes of charging time is enough for up to 4 hours of playback. Automatic Wear Detection pauses the music when the headphones are taken off and resumes when they are put back on.
Skullcandy uses an integrated joystick for operation, which makes control particularly intuitive. In addition to Bluetooth 5.3, the features also include Google Fast Pair, multi-point pairing, Spotify Tap and voice assistant activation at the touch of a button. If you want, you can also configure the headphones individually via the Skullcandy app.
The design is foldable and designed for traveling. The Hesh 540 ANC is now available in the colors True Black and Bone. The recommended retail price is 129.99 euros.
