With the SOLO mono MC cartridge and the LunA linear power supply, Vertere expands its analog portfolio with two specialized components designed specifically for maximum fidelity and performance in vinyl setups. Both new additions are aimed at ambitious analog enthusiasts and are intended to unlock the full potential of high-end turntables.
At the center is the new SOLO cartridge, specifically developed for the precise reproduction of mono records. Vertere follows an approach strictly optimized for lateral signals: vertical needle movements are largely ignored to minimize distortion and extract the mono signal with exceptional clarity. The heart of the system is a particularly lightweight MC generator combined with a telescopic aluminum cantilever and a Shibata III stylus. Together with the sophisticated generator mounting and the resonance-optimized aluminum alloy housing, the system is designed to provide exceptionally detailed and dynamic playback. According to the manufacturer, the frequency range extends up to 45 kHz, with an output voltage of 0.4 mV.
More structure and transparency with LunA
In addition, Vertere is introducing the LunA, a specially developed linear power supply designed to power its own DG turntables and the Tempo motor drive. The goal is a particularly stable and low-noise DC power supply that enables more precise operation of the motor control and electronics. The circuit is based on technology from the Imperium series and features a toroidal transformer and sophisticated voltage regulation. With a 30 V output voltage and up to 4.5 A of current, the power supply is intended to offer a significant sonic improvement in terms of dynamics, structure, and transparency.
Both components are part of a consistently coordinated analog ecosystem in which Vertere specifically takes into account the interactions between the drive, motor control, and power supply. The SOLO is designed to show its strengths particularly when playing classic mono recordings, while the LunA is intended as an upgrade for existing Vertere turntables.
The Vertere SOLO is available now at a recommended retail price of €3,748. The LunA linear power supply is also available now and costs €1,498.
